Christ and the Samaritan Woman by Annibale Carracci at the Pinacoteca di Brera Museum

This picture, together with Agostino’s Christ and the Woman Taken in Adultery and Ludovico’s Christ and the Canaanite Woman, belonged to a small series commissioned by Abbot Astorre Sampieri. Annibale painted the picture before going to Rome in 1595.
